Want to Save Yourself Lots of Time and Effort?
However, even after you’ll know how to create clothes, it is invaluable for you to have a useful library of Marvelous Designer patterns and Marvelous Designer fabric presets. We have in this library over 300 Physical Property Presets for MD clothes of all sorts and kinds.
Compared to our Marvelous Designer Garments Library, this library does NOT include ready-made Marvelous Clothing. It costs less, but you’ll need to use the patterns and presets provided to recreate the clothes.
Why do you need clothing patterns?
Patterns are the blueprint for how clothes are made in Marvelous Designer. To make clothes you need patterns.
Even if you don’t have time to watch all the workshops, once you know the basics of the software, you can use our patterns to immediately create clothes.
If you forget how to make a certain sleeve, shirt, dress etc., you can quickly reference the patterns instead of having to watch the tutorials all over again.
You can also import patterns into MD to speedily recreate the clothing item (see the video below).
Or use our patterns as a great starting point to make your own clothes.
Why Do I Need Your Patterns, Can't I Find Sewing Patterns Online?
Sure, you can spend hours and days hunting online for real-world sewing patterns. No guarantee you’ll even find the kind of pattern you need.
There are hardly ever any free ones anywhere (we looked for them so we know…).
And even if you do find or buy real-world sewing patterns, here are the typical problems you’re going to be facing:
- Real world patterns are made for printing, often delivered as a PDF with the pattern divided over many pages; you have to put all the pages (puzzle pieces) together to get an overview of the full pattern.
- Can be confusing and difficult to figure how to sew the parts together if you’re not a trained seamstress.
- You’d need to figure out all the different techniques how to use these real-world patterns in Marvelous Designer, which is somewhat different than real world sewing.
- They are not made for MD, therefore do not have physical property presets and all other settings. You’ll be spending many long hours fiddling with physical property settings.
Great news! :) Our patterns are made for MD and come with all the special settings and presets you’ll need.
Here’s a special One Time Offer for you for our library of 124 MD patterns & +300 physical property presets.

(This is a 8:33 minute Marvelous Designer pattern tracing tutorial. You need not watch the full video now… You’ll get the link to all our free Marvelous Designer video tutorials after purchase.)
Notes:
Textures are not included in this mega pack, only in the full Marvelous Designer garment mega pack.
These are PATTERNS not final garments. You will need to trace the patterns in the program, as we demonstrate in the video here.
We provide (where needed) additional close-ups and of course the sewing lines, so you know what goes where and how.
The final stage of making a garment is to apply the custom physical property preset onto the part of clothing.
How Do Our Marvelous Fabric Physical Property Presets Help You?
The physical properties of the fabric define how the cloth will drape, hang, simulate, move and react in animations. It can take a long time and a lot of practice to find the perfect combination of the settings, in order to get the garment looking just right.
SOMETIMES IT TAKES LONGER TO MAKE THE PHYSICAL PROPERTY THAN THE CLOTHING ITEM ITSELF.
For some complex garments, especially quilted or puffed clothes, unless you really know what you are doing (and have the understanding and experience of how the cloth reacts to every change of a setting), it can take a long time (and sometimes luck) to achieve the perfect result you need.
The same garment can look SO different with a different physical property setting… See some examples:
You’ll be using them again and again in every project, from the smallest thing like a button or a cuff to complex quilted jackets.
Why waste time and money recreating the wheel when you can get it here ready for use?
