Free Marvelous Designer 7 video tutorial
In Marvelous Designer 7, you can now add a background image in the 2D pattern window.
Previously, one could only change the Marvelous Designer 3D Garment window background image.
When would you want to add a background image in the 2D pattern window? Well, maybe if you want to create clothing from reference images or concept art.
If you want to trace real world clothing patterns or trace Marvelous Designer patterns to recreate clothes in Marvelous Designer, this tool is not teh best solution.
Using the 2D pattern window background image tool is very hard to scale clohthing patterns to an exact, correct size.
If you want to trace patterns in Marvelous Designer, I recommend using the method as I teach in the how to trace patterns tutorial.
